Thanks for the quick reply!

Hello Mateusz,

The CANbus cables were not the problem. I borrowed another MC in order to check, if this one is working in my scooter. And this one does the job. It appears on the bus, Ready-Go is OK. Then I tracked the CANbus signals from J4 to U9 over the optocouplers to the DSP. Ingoing signal on RX is OK, but no response on TX side. Clock is OK, 5V too.

So I suspect the DSP controller a) to be defective or b) it lost firmware somehow. I have seen this phenomenon on other µCs before so do you think it is worth trying to reprogram it at Vectrix? Did you see such a defect before?

Hello,

now I found the real problem in the charger. I found, that the front temperature board was completely burnt due to

loose wires in the temperature sensor harness touching some cells. So inside the charger the 7805 Voltage regulator that serves the temperature sensors was defect. Now the charger appears on the CAN-BUS again and shows the correct battery voltage in the left display.

Since the charger died, I was still able to ride the Vectrix. But a few days ago, I started the Vectrix without charger and without temperature boards (they were disconnected after the charger failed). But since then I have the problem, that the MC (SW 1021) does not respond. It disappeared completely in ScooterDiag :-(

The VX-1 can be switched on or wakes up by plugging it in, but I am not able to switch it off with the key. Does anybody  have an idea, what this can be? MC lost firmware somehow? Is this a known problem?

Best regards

Tido

BTW.: The Universal BMS from the shop arrived here only two days later. I have made the cable tree ready for connecting to the TESLA cells and hope to get it working soon....
